A conference room is sized by the table, and the table is sized by the seat count — but the dimension that actually sets the room is the clearance ring around the table, which has to be wide enough for a chair to pull out and for someone to walk behind it. Add an accessible seat at the table and the knee clearance and approach for it become fixed dimensions rather than preferences. A six-seat meeting room built around a 72 by 42 in table with 36 in of clear floor behind the chairs on every side. 150 to 180 sf, and the seat count is the whole sizing input.
